From heavy-duty work to off-road adventures, the new 2024 Honda Ridgeline has it all. A specialized trim, the Trailsport, gives the pickup limited off-road capability. While not as ideal as an SUV, the power and performance offered on or off the road are nothing to scoff at once behind the wheel.
What's New for 2024?
The new 2024 model year gives the Ridgeline limited off-road capability, among other changes. The models receive a larger centre console and an update to their exterior design. The Trailsport trim packs all the off-road features, including General Grabber A/T Sport all-terrain tires and additional protection for the truck's underbody.

Interior Design and Comfort
The pickup features a rear 60/40 folding bench seat with storage underneath. The centre console of the cabin also has versatile storage space. Most notably, the Trailsport and Black Edition trims feature leather-trimmed seating surfaces.
Exterior Features
Sporting a rugged design, the Ridgeline shows off its rear with a durable bumper and chrome accents from the exhausts. The 18-inch alloy-aluminum wheels vary in colour and design between trims, but the size remains the same. 18 inches is an ideal size that offers plenty of traction while being more discreet than larger wheel sizes.
Technology and Connectivity
The 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system is the centre of a world of information, connectivity, and control. The screen comes fully equipped with various handy features, including Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, for connectivity with mobile devices.
Power and Performance
The 3.5-litre, 24-valve, Direct Injection engine is powerful, delivering 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. The pickup's fuel efficiency is somewhat high, though within expectations for the power output. In the city, the fuel economy is 12.8 L/100km, while the economy on the highway is 9.9 L/100km.
Safety and Assistance Features
The Ridgeline has active and passive features that help keep you aware and protected while driving. The Forward Collision Warning System alerts you to any hazard ahead of you. Paired with the Collision Mitigation Braking System, the system will activate the brakes to slow down or stop the vehicle in the event of a predicted collision.
Controlled Braking is a tool that aims to assist you when maintaining control is difficult. This system optimizes braking power based on weight distribution within the vehicle. The system can also detect when a panic stop occurs and increase the brake pressure as required.
