Technology
Models up to the Trailsport are equipped with a 7-inch TFT colour centre metre display, while upper trims come with a larger 10.2-inch colour display. The Touring and Black Edition trims also have the Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System, with bilingual voice recognition and a colour head-up display. The EX-L and upper models are equipped with CabinTalk in-car PA and a HomeLink remote system.
All models have a tri-zone automatic climate control system, but the EX-L and upper models also enjoy second-row controls. Also, all models except for the Sport have a wireless charging pad. The front doors and the tailgate can be controlled remotely with the Smart Entry with Walk-Away Auto Lock. Rearview cameras with camera washers are standard across the lineup.
Infotainment Features
The Sport has a 7-inch touchscreen display and a 225-watt audio system with seven speakers, including a subwoofer. Upper models have standard 9-inch touchscreen displays and wireless compatibility with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Mid-tier models have a similar sound system but with nine speakers, while the Touring and Black Edition trims come with a 12-speaker BOSE Premium audio system.
All models have speed-sensitive volume control, second-row USB chargers, a driver’s USB-A smartphone/audio interface, and Bluetooth streaming audio. WiFi hotspot capabilities and HondaLink subscription services are reserved for the Touring and Black Edition.
Safety Features
The entire lineup enjoys nearly the same level of safety technologies, including an advanced airbag system surrounding all passengers, including SmartVent side airbags. The HondaLink Assist Automatic Emergency Response System is also standard across the lineup.
The long list of standard safety features includes forward collision warning, lane departure warning, road departure mitigation, hill start assist, hill descent control, and vehicle stability assist with traction control. The list of standard driving assists is equally impressive, with adaptive cruise control, blind spot information, lane-keeping assist, rear cross-traffic monitor, traffic sign recognition, and traffic jam assist for all models.
