The first CR-V was released in the 1990s, borrowing many features from Honda’s top hit, the Civic. Over the years, it has become an award-winning model and one of the best SUVs around.

New Features
The 2024 lineup includes a new hybrid trim: the EX-L Hybrid. It has heated seats on both rows, leather-trimmed upholstery, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The new model rolls on 18-inch gloss black aluminum alloy wheels and will be manufactured in Canada.
Interior Design
Models up to the Sport have fabric seats, while the mid-tier EX-L has perforated leather-trimmed seats and the EX-L Hybrid and Touring Hybrid have added orange accents on their leather-trimmed surfaces. Leather-wrapped shift knobs and one-touch power moonroofs are standard for the Sport and upper models, but heated front seats are standard for all trims.
All models seat up to five passengers and have a dual-zone automatic climate control system, which includes air filtration. Additionally, all models have front and rear beverage holders, sunglasses holders, and a centre console. The LX-B models have more headroom and passenger volume than the rest of the lineup.
The EX-L and upper models have a 9-inch touchscreen display with eight speakers. The Touring Hybrid has a luxurious infotainment system, adding a 12-speaker BOSE Premium audio system to the 9-inch display. The Sport and lower models have 7-inch touchscreen displays.
Cargo Features
Rear seats are foldable across the lineup, expanding the cargo capacity when necessary. All models have four tie-down anchors mounted on the cargo area and a 12-volt power outlet.
Cargo area dimensions vary between the gas-only and hybrid models, with gas options coming out on top by a slim margin. Gas-only models have 2,166L of cargo capacity when the rear seats are folded and the load floor is adjusted to its lowest level. The hybrids offer 2,030L of cargo capacity. Also, towing capacity reaches 680kg for gas-only options and 453kg for hybrid powertrains.
